Welcome

The City of Gallatin is located in the Heart of Cherokee County, Texas, within ten minutes drives to Rusk, the County Seat, Jacksonville and New Summerfield, Texas. Gallatin has no city sales tax. The community operates though the work of volunteers and elected officials who protect and serve this small east Texas community.  April 12th, 2014 Gallatin had its 10th Annual Gopher Fest and Chili Cook-off.

Hwy 69 to US 84 Left on Hwy 768 to Hwy 22 Right on 22.


From New Summerfield, Tx:
Hwy 79 to Hwy 110 S to Right on Hwy 204 to CR 1405 Left to 768 Turn Left.
