Welcome
The City of Gallatin is located in the Heart of Cherokee County,
Texas, within ten minutes drives to Rusk, the County Seat,
Jacksonville and New Summerfield, Texas. Gallatin
has no city sales tax. The community operates though the
work of volunteers and elected officials who protect and serve this
small east Texas community. April
9th, 2011 Gallatin had its
7th Annual Gopher Fest and Chili Cook-off.
